Warhammer 40000 Calendar

My playing life, for the longest time, has revolved around tourney play. In the last ten or so years, the tournament scene and specifically the Melbourne scene has blossomed nicely on the back of events like Arcanacon, Conquest, and more recently, Melbourne In Flames, Apocalypse and Judgment Day to name a few.

In the last ten or so years, the tournament scene and specifically the Melbourne scene has blossomed nicely on the back of events like Arcanacon, Conquest, and more recently, Melbourne In Flames, Apocalypse and Judgment Day to name a few.

To that end, the good people over at Wargamer AU have compiled a fairly comprehensive and up-to-date list of tournaments that run through out the year.

DECEMBER

Pretty well every month there is at least a Warhammer 40000 or Warhammer tournament somewhere in Victoria. The exceptions to this are June, Spetmeber and December. June is sort of off bounds mostly because of Terracon.

Run over the border in Narracoorte, Terracon is one of the stand out events on the national calendar. Narracoorte’s population swells on the long weekend as hordes of gamers descend for two days of utter mayhem, dodgy experiences in the Soccer Club, South Australian beer, oh, and some games of Warhammer.

In the immortal words of Ferris Bueller, “if you have the means, I highly recommend it.”

Seriously!
